While creating the illustrations for Artists in Residence: Seventeen Artists and Their Living Spaces, from Giverny to Casa Azul, I naturally came across the artists’ studios. Though the Artists in Residence book is not focused on the artists’ studios, I began to daydream about those spaces and what lessons could be learned from them. And so, this free journal came about. I am delighted to share with you illustrations of well-known artists’ studios along with inspiring quotes and a writing prompt to ignite your studio practice.
